Visit from 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery 2019

29 Commando visited the children’s wards again this Christmas and continued their support to make the children’s stay in hospital over the festive period as ‘normal’ as possible. They brought lots of selection boxes as well as a fantastic donation of £231.02.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this a special time.

29 Commando visit the children’s wards at Christmas 2018

We had a visit from some very special people today. Father Christmas with his Elves from 29 Commando. Father Christmas brought lots of selection boxes to give out to the children and some for our staff, as well having his ‘Elves’ singing and dancing for the children.

They also donated £203.65 to Children’s Happy Hospital Fund to help provide entertainment and activities over the Christmas period. Joanne Cross, Play Specialist, “Thank you so much to all of you. Father Christmas brought a lot of smiles to the children’s faces as well as parents and staff”.
