Lions Club of Plymouth

Lions Club of Plymouth Anita Dykes, Matron of the Paediatric wards at University Hospital Plymouth, attended the Mayors’ Parlour to receive a fantastic donation of £2000 from Lions Club of Plymouth. The donation was raised over the Christmas period and will be going towards our new WRAP appeal which is going to be launched in May.

The WRAP appeal, WOODCOCK RELAXATION AREA for PARENTS, is looking to raise £50,000 to create a new relaxation space for the parents and carers of patients on Woodcock ward with a quiet room and a new purpose built child friendly wet/bathroom.

Thank you to everyone involved in collecting and donating this fantastic sum.

If you think you can help to raise funds for the WRAP appeal please contact us on chhf@nhs.net .
