Plymsort donate selection of equipment and toys to the children’s wards

Plymsort, Charles Cross Police station run a tuck shop for the staff to use and any profit they raise goes to provide resources for charities. 

They have, over the last few years, chosen the children’s wards to benefit and came in yesterday to present the Play Service with equipment and resources for them to use across Level 12. 

Matron Anita Dykes thanked the officers for their generosity and for giving items from the Derriford Children’s Wards amazon wish list.  Sue Rodgers, Play Specialist, said “These items will enhance the service we can provide to all our patients and expand our ability to distract the children during their stay here. “  Plymsort provided items for all ages and abilities from cot mobiles to sensory lights.
